About me

Grew up a couple hours east of here and moved to Asheville for the clinic job. Still keep a paper reading log because the last three apps I tried all lost my notes eventually.

I'm a veterinary technician at a wildlife rehab clinic outside Asheville, North Carolina, which means my days are raptors and orphaned raccoons and the occasional turtle with a cracked shell, and my evenings are mostly board games and whatever's next on my paper reading log. I got into this hobby through a coworker who taught me Star Realms on a slow shift, and it snowballed from there into a shelf that's outgrown two bookcases already. Thursday is game night, usually my partner Theo and my friend Mara plus whoever else can make it, and I will absolutely reorganize your box insert if you let me. I read across genre and outside it, mostly science fiction and fantasy with the occasional detour into whatever nonfiction someone hands me and swears will change how I think.
